About Roca
Roca is a company dedicated to the design, production and marketing of bathroom products for architecture, construction and interior design. Founded in 1917, it combines tradition and knowledge with a passion for innovation and respect for the environment with the aim of meeting people's needs and contributing to the improvement of society's well-being.
With sustainability present in all its production processes and with the commitment to help preserve a better planet for future generations, Roca embodies this philosophy in the 170 countries in which it operates and in the company’s 84 factories, and also conveys it daily to its more than 24,000 employees.
The family business is the market leader in Europe, Latin America, India and Russia. It also has a strong presence in China and the rest of Asia, the Middle East, Australia and Africa. As a result, Roca has become a true world leader in the sector.
Roca has showrooms in Barcelona, Sofia, Sao Paulo, Prague, Buenos Aires and Casablanca.
In addition to the showrooms, Roca also has several Roca Galleries around the world, which are proof of the brand's commitment to excellence and best practice in sustainable architecture and design. The Galleries host exhibitions, round tables, launch events and cultural activities for both professionals and the general public, with a sample of the brand’s products on display.
Roca is committed to innovation and has highly professional teams who endeavour to develop solutions for the bathroom space. That is why the company created the Innovation Lab, which functions as a working unit of the Roca Design Centre. The Innovation Lab works on product development, independently from the day-to-day operations. Interdisciplinary working groups are created to research and probe into different anthropological, ergonomic and social needs, among others. Their main task is to identify future demands through the study of users’ behaviour and market changes, as well as to create and develop new concepts. Such a process requires the perfect combination of creativity and the right techniques for finding practical solutions.
In line with its firm commitment to technology, design and innovation, Roca works very closely with highly distinguished architects (Ruy Ohtake, Moneo, Chipperfield, Herzog & De Meuron), interior designers and design studios (Benedito, Giugiaro, Schmidt & Lackner).
