Product description
73.1 is a low voltage pendant designed to be composed in atmospheric configurations. Each pendant is hand blown into a folded and highly heat-resistant ceramic fabric vessel. Each pendant is housed with a 10-watt xenon or 1.5-watt LED lamp.
Concept
73 results from blowing liquid glass into a folded and highly heat-resistant ceramic fabric vessel. The resulting shape has the form and texture intuitively associated with fabric, but with the optics and tactility of glass. A flat light source is positioned to fill the resulting volume with diffuse light, encouraging a volumetric reading.
