Product description

A close study of proportions and geometry. Design as an exact science and a source of emotion. The result is Vitruvio, a system of high-impact accessories designed by Jean-Marie Massaud. Vitruvio is a very wide chest of drawers with two, three or four drawers, a dresser and a bedside table. The saddle-leather upholstery completely envelopes the generous dimensions of the elements in a remarkable show of skilled craftsmanship. The light padding smoothes the corners and makes the surfaces soft to the touch. The structure of the Vitruvio chest of drawers, bedside table and dresser is composed of MDF panels with the interiors varnished with macroter-type grey-beige coloured scratchproof paint. Finish in Canaletto walnut or ebony for the front of the drawers and the back of the storage units. The drawers are mounted on metal guides with a pressure-based opening system. Solid oak feet with a finish to match the panels. In the two- and four-drawer versions the feet are mounted on a lacquered iron frame. The Saddle leather upholstery has a clean cut edge and tone-on-tone finish.
