Concept
Pilotis is an iconic element designed as a pure geometric solid that becomes a signature presence in living areas and interior spaces. Its name refers to one of the distinctive architectural elements of Rationalism, and indicates the slender columns on which the volume of the Rationalist buildings would lie, balanced in the air.
Available in two different heights, 45 or 55 cm, it is made of polished varnished metal, with a 27 cm diameter, and comes in a wide variety of existing finishes to which the new Chestnut and Malachite lacquer variants have been added. The Wood version has a curved wooden structure with a diameter of 25 cm and is finished in Liquorice-coloured open-pore lacquered ash.

Dordoni Architetti, founded in association with architects Alessandro Acerbi and Luca Zaniboni, deals with architectural planning and interior design, developing projects for houses, residential complexes, industrial and commercial areas such as offices, stores and showrooms, restaurants, hotels, yachts, as well as exhibit stands of diverse commercial fields.
