The Idea that led to the creation of the “L’Altra Parete” collection grounds its roots in the tradition of the craftsmanship present in the Tuscan territory and takes inspiration from the study of its elements, the rural architecture.
The old barns with their natural elegance, their typical forms characterized by the geometric fretwork of their walls made of red bricks, where the subdivision and separation of space is never absolute and definite but rather materialized in permeations and transparencies, represent the inspirational idea of the “L’Altra Parete” project..
“L’Altra Parete” is the the name of the new line of modular ceramic blocks which, enhanced with modular marble and wood elements, have been conceived and developed to create decorative design partition walls which allow the possibility of making living spaces unique.
The project “L’Altra Parete” offers different decorative solutions and numerous possibilities of geometrical combinations. It’s use, along with ceramic, of marble, stone and wood, enhances the range of possible solutions thus creating material and chromatic effects in any type of setting. “Your personal space”.
These modules, available in three-dimensional version, define a space as a penetrable surface in continuous mutation. Every little imperfection on each piece intensifies the concept of uniqueness which is the basis of our research.
“L’Altra Parete” as a structural element becomes a piece of furniture, breaks the separation, uniting geometric portions in harmonious continuity.
The starring role of “L’Altra Parete” is the light element which creates counter-posed lines and shade zones, and consequential fractions of enhanced gleam. In this alternative vision of space light plays a leading role presenting itself as a distinguishing element able to produce reflections and variable patterns giving life to original settings where aesthetics blend with functionality.
The ceramic and marble elements unite and counter-pose, creating open and closed forms that divide living spaces allowing a glimpse of their depth and of the volumes.
