TREEMME RUBINETTERIE
Treemme Rubinetterie is a dynamic, constantly evolving company whose constant attention to market trends guarantees the top quality of its products, based on innovative solutions perfectly balancing technology and design to live up to the expectations of increasingly demanding consumers. Substantial investments in research and development allow the company to follow the changes in style and thereby ensure the reliability and, above all, the functionality of its products.
1968 – 2008: 4 DECADES OF SUCCESS
The Treemme Rubinetterie company, originally called “Rubinetterie Toscane 3M” to sum up in a few words its very essence, was founded in February 1968 in Asciano, in the province of Siena: the company was set up by 3 founder members (Renato Michelangioli, Armando Medina and Guido Mencarelli) – whose surnames just so happened to share the same initial - it is located in Tuscany and, last but not least, produces taps and fittings.
The company started out as a crafts workshop specialized in the entire tap production process (casting, galvanics, polishing, finishing and assembly) and quickly evolved due to outstanding organization that was to seal its success from day one. Consumers were to soon recognize and appreciate the meticulous approach to quality and customer service.
In 1980 the company launched its product range in colour thanks to valuable collaboration with the DESIGN CALONACI & GAZZEI studio that devised the Arcobaleno (Rainbow) collection.
In 1989, during its internationalization phase, the company changed its name to Rubinetterie 3M (without the word “toscane”) – and later to Treemme Rubinetterie – in order to gain ground not only in Italy but also overseas.
The Treemme Rubinetterie company has recently also been extremely successful in the field of design, focusing more on the personalization and innovation of its products without however neglecting its classic and more traditional lines.
Well-known design studios were given the task to develop new forms and ideas such as: architect Missanelli for QUADRA, the American designer Remi Theberg for BRIDGE, and the G. Vegni Design studio for the more recent CUT, PAO and BLOK lines; the latter was awarded the prestigious DESIGN PLUS 2007 prize at the ISH fair in Frankfurt.
Four decades after it was founded, Treemme Rubinetterie continues to propose new collections ranging from traditional to more innovative lines, while preserving those characteristics that have allowed it to flourish and prosper: high quality and impeccable service. The company prioritizes the origin of its products, carefully selecting its suppliers in Italy and carrying out 80% of production in-house. The products best respond to customers’ needs by virtue of being entirely made in Italy.
AWARDED WITH DESIGN PLUS AT ISH EXHIBITION FAIR IN FRANKFURT
Treemme Rubinetterie has won an important award: the Design Plus, a prestigious biennial competition held at the international fair ISH in Frankfurt in collaboration with the German Design Council and given to those products which have a particularly innovative and environmentally sustainable design.
A jury of famous personalities from the world of design has recognized models PHILO SHOWER and LIGHT to be products worthy of the allocation as caring to the energy saving and to the environmental compatibility.
Thanks to the contribution of major designers, the company from Siena has increasingly taken on values of energy efficiency and innovation.
From a functional point of view, the advantages of PHILO series are mainly two: the reduction of water consumption provided by the distribution of less water flow in a larger surface area, and the total sectionable mixer tap with the advantage of easier maintenance and longer life.
Moreover, the ultra-modern design with a special tapered shape and the high quality sculpture of the collection points up to the aerodynamic effect and the lightness of this product, making it suitable for most environments, from the most classical to the youngest and modern one. In addition to the three types of taps shower (floor mounted, wall mounted and a shower head with separate controls), the line is also declined in four basin mixers (low, medium, high and wall mounted), a bidet mixer, three bathtub mixers (external, in-wall and floor mounted) and a hand-shower.
Concerning the LIGHT series the attention should be paid especially to the continuous research of new tactile sensations. This is the concept that characterizes the Corian shower head in this series, with its minimalist lines for a slender and elegant body.
A new technical style that shows the heart of the shower head in a clever interplay of shapes that come together in chrome finish over a white body, showing all the aesthetic power of pure synthesis.
