MEHR üBER BERLIN DESIGN WEEK
ABOUT
BERLIN DESIGN WEEK / Diverse locations, Berlin, Germany / May 12th — 22nd 2022
Every spring, BERLIN DESIGN WEEK presents the latest design trends and approaches that allow us to shape and prepare for the future. After a largely virtual BNDNWK 2021, physical events like exhibitions, talks, presentations, participatory projects and networking events will once again form the core of BNDNWK – held across the city and presenting a wide range of challenging and current design projects aimed at a professional as well as the public audience.
Under this year's theme "Higher Purpose", BNDNWK is dedicated to defining a more sustainable, "better future" – with design playing the role of observer, mediator and solution provider: "We believe that design will play a key role in allowing us to master the enormous challenges of our time. Our aim is to show how designers worldwide are driving societal change and promoting economic innovation through their work." says Alexandra Klatt, director of BNDNWK. She invites designers to think and define this "better future" and present ideas on how we can make it happen.
BNDNWK's program will be online from April at berlindesignweek.com.
