Established in London in 1990, the company has consistently produced inspiring designs for countless global clients for the past 28 years. In 2017, Brinkworth opened a second office in New York.
Brinkworth’s experience and ability to deliver has resulted in a highly creative portfolio, extending to over 2500 projects across 80 countries. With comprehensive industry knowledge of international working practice, the company’s experience enables clients to position projects anywhere within the global market. Having started out producing design and build projects in a workshop, the company evolved into one of the UK’s leading design studios. Always recruiting people from a diverse range of disciplines, the common attribute across all who join is a fascination for design, detail and materials. Despite the valid predominance of CAD, the team are encouraged to us the recently reinstated workshop for prototyping and material experimentation, ensuring those origins in making still remain at the heart of every project.

In recent years there has been a need to address the complex duality of physical and digital spaces for retail design in particular. Brinkworth have developed a way to utilise a physical retail space as a nucleus to create a branded customer community, complimenting the brands commercial outcomes. The customer is not purely an audience to a brand, but an integral participant. Brinkworth create spaces that harness, support and develop that brand / customer relationship, driving loyalty to a brand and a customers sense of collective identity and belonging.
