Profile
Pedro Colón de Carvajal Salís and Raquel Buj are licensed Architects by the School of Architecture of Madrid ETSAM (both Diploma 1st. Prize) and work together since 2002 developing design, architecture, landscape and urbanism projects. They have won numerous awards including the prestigious Detail Preis 2009 for their first project, the 11 March Memorial in Madrid. They have given conferences, leaded workshops and published their works in countries like USA, Japan, Korea, Hungary, Germany, United Kingdom, Italy and Spain.
They have recently won the International Competition for the Roman Museum of Galicia, Spain, whose construction is planned to start in 2013. Nowadays they are developing residential, commercial and cultural projects, such as their 110 Housing for young people in "Cocheras de Bravo Murillo", Madrid, as a research of new expressions and meanings of architecture.
They have worked in several architectural offices such as Ateliers Jean Nouvel or AMID/Cero9. Their work is based on the research of new methods and processes to approach to the reality of the contemporary urban culture. Nowadays, they are developing their Doctorate studies in Architectural Projects at the Madrid School of Architecture (ETSAM).

Pedro Colón de Carvajal Salís and Raquel Buj are licensed Architects by the School of Architecture of Madrid ETSAM (both Diploma 1st.
