COMPANY PROFILE
It was a time when lamps didn’t sit tight to the ceiling. A time when designers and lighting brands didn’t pay much attention on the final result after their lamps was sold and mounted by the customers. Back in these days they thought it was good enough with a cool design and innovative materials.

We are happy to announce that these days are gone. It’s now possible to have a lamp that is both easy to hang up and that sits tight to the ceiling, as it should do. Let us introduce an award winning serie of accessories that works with all pendants and in all types of ceilings.

COMPANY HISTORY
Both the product and our company have their origin in a newly purchased kitchen lamp. Looked great, but there was a problem. It was impossible to get the ceiling rose to fit tight. With an interest in interior design, this was a disturbing element in an otherwise fully satisfactory kitchen.

The actual idea of being able to turn a ceiling rose inside out came to Industrial Designer Lars Wettre while he was trying to sleep. The morning after he started work with making a cover plate that could be turned inside out so as to meet all the demands placed on a ceiling rose. Lars worked together with the well known designer Jonas Forsman in developing the function and design of the ceiling rose, which received the name CableCup.

At CableCup we are careful with quality at all steps and the material is the most important factor for the product’s function. Due to this, considerable emphasis has been put on choosing the right material and the right supplier – a supplier with the necessary skills for transforming the material into the finished product.

Production is conducted in Sweden by experienced injection moulders using modern machinery. Assembly is on own premises and each product is inspected for quality at least twice before leaving our warehouse.

DISCRETE DESIGN
CableCup's design is discrete and timeless. Considerable emphasis has been put on it fitting many different types of lamps and ceilings. Our products doesn't draw any attention instead contributes to a perfect whole.

SIMPLE FUNCTION AND QUICK INSTALLATION
The innovative function is patented and assures perfect results. Installing a CableCup product is easy no matter if it’s the ceiling rose or the cover plate Hide. One of the advantages of the ceiling rose CableCup is that it’s suspended directly from the hook. This means that it can never drop down or fall away from the ceiling. It also means that lamps can be installed at maximum height.
The cover plate Hide gives you two easy ways to hide the cables or sockets. Use the hook in the ceiling or bring the flap around the cord.
