James Wei Ke:
Partner and co-founder of Chiasmus, James Wei Ke’s work focuses on architecture which reshapes the experience of public space. His work involves publications, teaching, and multidisciplinary studies on bridging the gap between space and human behavior. He has taught at Columbia University, New York institute of Technology, Seoul City University and Tongji University.
His diversity international experiences spans from a great number of projects across North America and Asia. He studies architecture at University of California, Berkeley and Columbia University. Before founded Chiasmus in 2005 in New York City and moved it to Beijing in 2010, he worked for renowned architecture firms for over a decade and taught at noted academies.
The uniqueness of each site and each program within every project is a guiding approach for James Wei Ke’s design. Characterized by practical and strong conceptual intelligibility, innovative and sustainable means of realizing the idea, his work is dedicated to the finest quality of human experiences and highest respect to nature.
