Sixty four years ago one idea became one of the most ambitious projects in the Portuguese office furniture industry. On 14th August 1947, Mr. Jaime Pinto de Moura founded FAMO. One idea changed everything.
FAMO – Steel Furniture Factory – a new project, with a new concept of quality, based in experience and creativity.
Our growth is the best prove of our values. Nowadays Famo is a company with international dimension and in continuing expansion. We got several agencies through the country and are present in 3 continents, in countries like Angola, Spain and France.

This certifies our commitment with quality and partnership with our customers and collaborators.
Nowadays Famo is responsible for some of the best solutions in Office furniture, using the best technological resources available. Production is controlled by a computer system with the best equipment and the best technicians. However all products are still made with a craftsman attention, and some parts are handmade.
