JG Phoenix

JINGU PHOENIX SPACE PLANNING ORGANIZATION (Hereinafter referred to as JG PHOENIX) established in 2008，is a design agency dedicated to a wide spectrum of upscale spaces. We continuously work on creating spaces in line with Oriental humanism, and hope to let people feel Western logical thinking as well as Oriental sentiment of conforming to nature in the spaces we designed. In addition, we emphasize the harmony among architecture, environment and human, and strive to touch people's mind and enable dialogue between mankind and nature via utilization of plain materials and "intangible" expressions.

The design agency's name is given profound meaning. The words "JIN" and "GU" respectively refer to "today" and "past" in Chinese. Today and past together constitute the time line that runs through history. "Today" wouldn't come into being if there were no extension of ancient matters, while if there were no such noun of “today”, we couldn't look back to the past things. "Phoenix" represents the spirit of the east, which is the cultural identification that inherits China's 5,000 years of history.

Adhering to the design concept of "design changes life", we use contemporary languages to analyze the ancient culture so as to make the past serve the present, let the present be better than the past as well as promoting Oriental culture in the end.
So far, JG PHOENIX has completed lots of outstanding projects that cover a wide range of categories, including restaurant, office, club, spa, retail space, and villa, etc., among which many have been won various influential design awards at home and abroad.

Biography

Ye Hui
Ye Hui graduated from Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts, majoring in environment design. He is a senior environment designer, the founder and design director of JINGU PHOENIX SPACE PLANNING ORGANIZATION (Hereinafter referred to as JG PHOENIX), and vice director of Shantou Decoration Association Council.

In 2008, he established JG PHOENIX, an interior design agency dedicated to a wide spectrum of upscale spaces. Ye Hui continuously works on creating spaces in line with Oriental humanism, and hopes to let people feel Western logical thinking as well as Oriental sentiment of conforming to nature in the spaces he designed.

In addition, he emphasizes the harmony among architecture, environment and human, and strives to touch people's mind and enable dialogue between mankind and nature via utilization of plain materials and "intangible" expressions. Having engaged in the interior design field for 20 years, he completed diversified exceptional works, many of which have won various influential design awards at home and abroad.
