Philosophy
Rafemar aims to unite the diversity of design, make different cultures interact with our designs. We are always trying that what sorrounds us must tell everything about us, beyond the space it occupies. Special occasions deserve their own spaces. A place for keeping every toast and every meeting.
In every room there is a space for us, where our most sinceres self resides. We promote a simple design which comes out from our needs, where all objects have a reason to be. Consequently we want to approach simplicity and functionality. Every corner is an opportunity of expressing yourself. We do not pretend to fill every space but to find a piece that gives it life.
There are spaces to live in and spaces to open ourselves to new experiences. We are thinking in where we live and how we live within our home. We want to make life easier, more natural and comfortable: simple, lasting and non- artificial mechanisms.
It has to do with dreaming, letting ourselves being seduced and flying towards what we always imagine and towards what can still surprise us. You define the centre of your life and the thing that sorround you.
History
Since 1969 quality has been one of our principal objective. All our efforts have been focused on converting Rafemar into one of the most exigent Spanish enterprises dedicated to the fabrication of upholstery and auxiliary furniture: using the best materials and best processes of fabrication.
Rafemar maintains the handcraft finishings in all of our products, which gives a touch of distinction and quality responding to our clients request. We use the best materials, study the function and aesthetic of every piece, which allows us to unite beauty with resistance and to be loyal to our principals of quality, design, warranty and service.
We are also building an eco-friendly strategy: Rafemar has installed a photovoltaic cells roof that allow us to generate more renewable energy than the company uses, clean energy generating and consuming to maintain a balance between growth and environmental friendliness.
