A/S Søborg Møbelfabrik was founded in 1890, since when it has constantly manufactured high quality furniture in great Danish design.
Through the 1950s and 1960s, the company worked with Danish furniture designers to experiment with, manufacture and display furniture at the annual exhibitions of the Copenhagen Guild of Joiners - exhibitions that laid the foundations for the fairytale of Danish furniture and the internationally recognised concept of Danish Design.
Design combined with fine furniture craftsmanship still form the cornerstone of our oeuvre, where office furniture and classic items designed by Bernt, Børge Mogensen, Christian Hvidt, Kai Lyngfeldt Larsen, Mogens Lassen, and others play an important role.
We also manufacture individual items and furnishings to order.
