Valentina Ciuffi (Bologna, Italy, 1978) is a journalist who specializes in the Semiotics of Architecture and Art. Since 2004, she has authored numerous essays and articles on urbanism, architecture, art, design and performance, from the singular perspective of her specialist area. She has worked for several Italian and international newspapers and magazines (D/La Repubblica, Vogue, IlSole24ore, La Stampa, Apartamento, Klat, Rodeo). For the last six years, she has been actively involved in the organization of the Festarch International Festival of Architecture. Since 2008 she is a member of the editorial staff at Abitare, an international design and architecture magazine. In 2012 she edited the monographic issue Abitare Being BIG.
