At Valli & Valli / ASSA ABLOY we aim to add a whole new dimension to design which will inspire and excite the senses through ranges that reflect the world we live in. Our designs are unique, and combine traditional elements with youthful interpretations of classics.
Manufactured by skilled craftsmen in the Valli workshop and individually hand finished to precise standards, we place emphasis on the process as much as the final product. Several handles belonging to the Valli range are designed in Zirtanio treated brass alloy, and backed by a thirty-year guarantee. From chic minimalist to decorative and traditional, each piece meets the high quality interior specifications which are a benchmark for architects, producing handles that are as creative as they are versatile.
Bringing the latest innovations in Italian design, and pioneers of unequalled techniques, since 1976, Valli & Valli’s Fusital range (mostly in stainless steel) have been collaborating on design with some of the world’s most renowned architects and designers. Gae Aulenti, Cini Boeri, Achille Castiglioni, Antonio Citterio, Dante O. Benini, Matteo Thun, Norman Foster, Frank Gehry, Zaha Hadid, David Chipperfield and Yoshimi Kono to name but a few.
Founded by Pasquale Valli in 1934, Valli & Valli’s roots are in Italy, they have since grown to be one of the leading handle manufacturers in the world. In 2008, Valli & Valli joined the Swedish group ASSA ABLOY, an international leader in security and door systems.
Today, the Valli brand continues to go from strength to strength, now evolving to bring clients a new match of design and technology that will change the entrance systems and producing its exclusive range of door and window handles to over 70 countries worldwide.
The ASSA ABLOY Group, today world leader in security and door closing/opening systems, is the result of the 1994 merger between the Swedish ASSA and the Finnish ABLOY.
The new company was listed on the Stockholm Stock Exchange on 8th November 1994.
Since then, ASSA ABLOY has continued to grow, acquiring through the years up to 50 brands and companies throughout the world.
A journey that has turned ASSA ABLOY from a traditional Scandinavian company operating in the “hardware” sector into a global leader capable of offering the most complete range of solutions in the area of security and door opening/closing systems compared to any other competitor on the market.
Today, ASSA ABLOY is an international group with approximately 43,000 employees working in 150 different companies located in 70 countries worldwide The Group operates on the world’s major markets with five divisions, and closed the year 2013 with total turnover of about 47 billion Swedish kronas and an operating profit of 7.6 billion Swedish kronas. In the last five years, right in the midst of a deep financial crisis, ASSA ABLOY posted a 34% global increase in turnover.
