Located in the heart of Washington D.C., just minutes from The White House, the 226-room Darcy hotel gives Rhode Island Avenue a little taste of la vie en rose. Guests will immediately notice artist Kirk Maxson’s gold sculpture of Washington D.C.’s official flower, the American Beauty rose, behind the reception desk when they check in. In fact, much of the hotel’s design is inspired by the rose, including the carved wooden archways and the hand-tufted area rugs in some of the guest rooms.
