Rostokino

This shopping mall located in Moscow city, with more than 250.000 m2, built-in 2004, needed a new brand identity. The client requested a new facade design and a complete interior design strategy for all the malls and plazas.

The challenge was to develop a functional, contemporary, and economically effective solution in a short period of time.

The operation was divided into different zones with complex coordination in between technical departments and the non-stop activity of the tenants.

As a result, the malls gained more visibility of shopfronts, an easier customer navigation, and a fluid and exciting circulation of people. All the spaces were designed to produce a new retail experience that connects with the customer’s emotions and needs.

The facade design includes a corporative identity and consists of a prefabricated system of panels where commercial brands can utilize the space. The transparency and versatility of these elements permitted a free composition, compatible with the existing original facade.

With this standardized system, the construction process could be optimized in costs and timing due to commitments with the client and the corporative design intentions of the project.
