Residential building by Zangirolami Architectural Studio

In the Bolzano area were born two twin detached houses surrounded by greenery, just the respect for this unspoiled nature required the use of environmentally friendly products and hence the choice of our decking system in composite wood 100% Made in Italy.
It is the Zangirolami Architectural Studio that created and followed the project, choosing Felli products for outdoor flooring.
The studio deals with architectural design in the private and public field, both for new buildings and for renovations of buildings, with particular attention to environmental sustainability aspects in compliance with CasaClima protocols.
It is for this attention, that we can define green, that the architect Luca Zangirolami for this residential building project was looking for a natural product, both visually and to the touch, but at the same time functional in time and eco-sustainable.
Specifically, the Felli products applied in this project are profiles and fixing system of our decking system, i.e. the decking used in the practicable roof, balconies and patio outside on the ground floor.
The aesthetic appearance is comparable to noble wood, thanks to the high percentage of wood used. Wood that comes from the production waste of the first wood processing, no felled trees.
The durability over time, however, is much greater compared to natural wood, because the polymer used to create this composite wood gives it greater resistance to atmospheric agents, colour maintenance, absence of splinters, resistance to mould and much more. All this while keeping the product 100% recyclable in the same production chain.
Not to be underestimated is also the simplicity of the assembly system with hidden screws, which maintains the presence of cavities underneath the floor that allow rainwater to drain off with a reduction of the building impact compared to completely sealed floors.
The result is magnificent, a modern and elegant design perfectly immersed in the context. The photos can certainly confirm this.
