Frudisiac Bar-Café

In this context, Microtopping flooring combines perfectly with wood, making interiors feel natural. A perfect neutral background for designer spaces, Microtopping is also easy to clean and maintain as well as having resistance to penetration by liquids and stains. For this reason, it has also been used to coat the bar counter, creating a pleasing effect of continuity with the floor.

Design prerequisites
Frudiasiac is a highly environmentally-friendly establishment in full Nordic style designed by NANA (Not a Number Architects). The severe, black structure in square shapes entirely encloses a warm and welcoming designer space. Inspired by Scandinavian style, the room is a single space where light-coloured wood is the dominant material: from the ceiling to the walls, from the modular wall display to the large central table that crosses the whole premises. The large windows make the room even larger and brighter. And, above all, Microtopping.

Functional solutions
The special characteristics of the place are given by the presence of Microtopping in colour contrast with the wood, which creates an effect that enlarges the space, bestowing brightness and naturality.
Microtopping was chosen not only because it is innovative and able to provide a neutral background for designer spaces, but also because it is easy to clean and maintain in perfect condition. This feature is particularly appreciated in public premises where food and drinks are consumed. Moreover, suitably treated, the material resists even heavy traffic without sustaining damage.
Microtopping was also used to completely coat the bar counter, ensuring excellent performance in terms of water and stain resistance.

Application techniques
Microtopping in Smoke colour coated 65 square metres of floor and 10 square metres of counter. The floor was treated with stain and scratch proof PU WB protection. The operation was completed in only 7 days.
