The historic building is located in the heart of the Eternal City and retains the charm of a period palace, combined with the best tradition of international hospitality. The ancient soul of the Palace has been preserved in the renovation process, integrating its classical elements with the contemporary and eco-sustainable design elements of Architect Patricia Urquiola.
In a unique setting in the world, the Six Senses Rome - Palazzo Salviati Cesi Mellini is a true treasure trove, welcoming guests with a monumental marble staircase adorned with 600 columns, topped by a skylight that bathes it in natural light.

From the Palladian architecture to the extensive presence of Roman Classic Travertine, the local stone of Rome, marble, and natural stones embellish the reception, common areas, café-restaurant, and the underground SPA, inspired by ancient Roman baths where the memory of ancient rituals merges with high-tech and high-touch therapies.
The tepidarium walls, clad in Travertine, are finely decorated with laurel leaves, crafted in bas-relief with waterjet cutting and inspired by the myth of Apollo and Daphne; the floor is made of Palladiana with Verde Cipollino marble grit, recalling Roman architectural tradition.
In the circuit of Roman baths, there stand out the mighty portals shaped in Travertine, the coverings of the same marble with a ribbed finish, precious inlaid artistic mosaic, and a monobloc washbasin in Cipollino Verde.
