Very close to Porta Romana, surrounded by the walls of the oldest rural farmhouse within the former city walls, the Guest House of un posto a Milano has a beauty makeover, becoming a corner of well-being for every type of traveller, renovating its decoration and furnishings, thanks to the collaboration with Pedano.

A new kind of shared sociability
Un posto a Milano is a project by esterni in Cascina Cuccagna, the rural farmhouse dating back to 1695 and restored in 2012 by the Association Consorzio Cantiere Cuccagna which offers an idea of all-round hospitality, with alongside the Kitchen and the Bar, the Guest House, completely renovated five years after its opening, thanks to partnerships with some of the best Italian brands.

On the first floor of the Cascina Cuccagna and with an independent entrance, the Guest House of un posto a Milano has four rooms (NORTH, SOUTH WEST and EAST), one double room, one triple room and two quadruple rooms which offer solutions suitable for small and large groups.

Lovers of city life and of nature, backpackers, families with children, groups of friends, who all have in common the desire to discover Milan, will be plunged into the unique and surprising atmosphere of Cascina Cuccagna, where they will be able to spend their time, eat and sleep well, experiencing a new kind of shared sociability.

Thanks to the new collaboration with Pedano, the rooms have been completely renovated, becoming cosy with an innovative design where you can relax and where travellers can discover a new well-being, especially during their sleep.

Un posto a Milano has always collaborated with companies that carry on continuous research in their sector, use innovative production methods, guarantee tradition as well as the traceability of the materials. The collaboration with Pedano is part of this entrepreneurial approach, which can be summarized in the slogan REAL FOOD MILE, i.e. a search for ingredients with a deep bond to their local areas and excellent Italian products.

Each room has Pedano beds made from multiply wood, a material that is completely natural and ecological, and the Pedano Sleeping System. The Junco structure support our movements throughout sleep. During rest, every part of the body receives from the Junco slats an equal thrust offsetting its weight and which leads to total relaxation and releases muscular tensions. Mattresses are in pure natural latex with turf, an active carbon which has a natural protective action, and straw, with a calming and harmonising effect on the organism. The sleep will be completed by light and breathable comforters made of bamboo fibre.
This sleeping system has now twenty-seven years of references of people that have experimented the healing effects of good sleep.

A common lounge is at the disposal of guests, together with a kitchenette with a micro-wave oven, a kettle, a free wifi connection. In addition, guests have a 10% discount at the delicatessen, valid throughout their stay, all day long Furthermore, during the daytime, the guests can use the garden of Cascina Cuccagna, with the kitchen garden and the patio, where they can spend their time.
