The innovative Lounge kitchen system proposes a highly developed interpretation of the concept of maximum functionality, revisiting the meanings of quality and everyday life with a view to making the kitchen an even more cosy, functional and aesthetically gratifying environment and the favourite place in the home.
The key elements of Lounge are the change in proportions: an increase in volumes and greater storage capacity of the wall and base units (reduced, 8 cm high plinth); and new design standards, which use dedicated materials to define a more contemporary, sophisticated appearance: precious woods or ones featuring particular workmanship, gloss, matt and liquid metal finish lacquers, Fenix® laminates, decorative foils, steel and now gloss and opaque lacquered glass.
In addition to Scrigno, a system of tall units featuring doors that open into a recess in the side, enabling them to accommodate electrical appliances or to interpret the larder in an innovative way, Lounge proposes Maxi tall units with full-height doors, creating a clean-cut, linear appearance
The Lounge opening system uses the ShellSystem frame, a further development of the “shell” construction systems, also with the Pro profile running along the entire edge of the door.

The arrangement is completely developed around an island, which houses the kitchen’s main operational functions: washing, prepping and cooking.
Kitchen storage is delegated to the Maxi tall units with full-height doors, which conceal a spacious larder along with the refrigerator.
A second sink, to maximise us of space and operability, is fitted into the niche, which breaks up the vertical rhythm of the full-height doors on the Maxi tall units. The niche features wall panelling called Groove, available in the Veneta Cucine range of product materials and finishes and is surrounded by rear and perimeter aluminium frames in Bronzo aluminium finish, the same used for the recessed grips and plinth.
Groove can be accessorised with tracks into which shelves, hooks and lights for working in the kitchen in the correct light, can be inserted for keeping the necessary utensils and ingredients within reach at all times.
The island is joined at one end to a top in Rovere Boisè, which functions as a table, created using the new Totem breakfast bar leg in the same colour as the top and furnished with Babila Poltrona chairs. The other end instead is joined to a Living bookcase system in Camoscio Matte Lacquer finish, which introduces the space set aside for relaxation and leisure.
The Stepsystem Reverse module inserted between the two Maxi tall units with full-height doors, is balanced against the Living bookcase system positioned at an angle to its left and features LED bars built into the shelves to allow for a more targeted and specific management of artificial lighting.
