Designed circa 1928-29, executed for the home of Pierre Delebart, 1929, burr-walnut and stainless steel, peripheral drawer to top.

The architect and decorator Gabriel Guévrékian was often linked with Robert Mallet-Stevens, a founder member of UAM. Guévrékian undertook a number of domestic commissions in the late 1920s and early 1930s, including the home of the couturier Jacques Heim in 1927. Prior to joining UAM in 1934, Guévrékian contributed numerous works and structures to the 1925 Exposition Internationale des Arts Décoratifs, including the influential 'Garden of Water and Light', which was to result in his commission to design a comparable garden for the Vicomte de Noailles' villa at Hyères, 1926.
