A rare “VP-Europe” hanging lamp, designed by Verner Panton, 1977, for Louis Poulsen/Denmark, double-walled flat shade of blown opalescent glass, red lacquered sheet metal reflector, with a label Louis Poulsen, diametre 51 cm.
Apart from this large hanging lamp, the "VP-Europe" series produced by Poulsen also included a smaller version as well as a floor lamp and a large and a small table lamp.
