Rare and important early "Barcelona" chair, ca. 1932
Nickel-plated hand-forged and welded flat steel, leather, horsehair.
29 1/8 in. (75 cm) high
Manufactured by Berliner Metallgewerbe Joseph Müller, Germany. Designed for the German Pavilion at the 1929 International Exhibition, Barcelona, Spain. Together with signed card and correspondence from Mies van der Rohe.
