Product description
More widely known for his architecture and sculpture, André Bloc also designed organic, curvaceous pieces of furniture. The chair model offered here, which he used in his own Bellevue house in Meudon, was put into production in the early 1950s. An ad in a 1951 L'Architecture d'Aujoud'hui boasted that it was very light, easily assembled, and available in all colors. He also used free-form tables and desks in his interior, including the table model offered here, which he used in his dining room.
