Product description
The design for ''Michael’s Table'' began as a concept for a gazebo which was gradually brought down in scale to become the first piece of furniture that Ali Tayar designed and his Parallel Design studio produced in 1991. Named after Michael Bassett, the New York attorney who commissioned the first one, the table was made in two sizes: a coffee table and a dining table. The production run was limited to approximately five coffee tables and three dining tables.
