This unique vanity was custom designed for a friend and colleague of Sottsass. A vertical tower contains ten drawers with beveled corner details, crowned by a four column shelf. Ten milled pulls punctuate the vertical lines of the cabinet, forming a counterpoint to the horizontality of the top. All sides of the vanity are finished, and the piece can be used as a vanity, a console table or a room divider. The design illustrates a strict adherence to the Euclidian geometries found in all pieces from Sottsass' oeuvre, and is an excellent and rare example of the designer's work.
