Product description
This rare version of the Swan settee was created for the Panorama Room on the 21st floor of the Royal SAS Hotel in Copenhagen, Denmark. It was not used in other areas of the hotel; the total production was limited to less than ten pieces. The cast bronze legs and the plywood structure distinguish this example from the later production models, and the blue-green upholstery was used throughout the building as part of the cohesive color scheme. The SAS Hotel was Jacobsen's most important commission.
