There's something delightfully contradictory about DALI – the Danish sound specialists whose collection of high-end speakers have become the specification go-to for many an architect. On the one hand, they deliver, via their wide-dispersion technology, the fullest, most true, of sounds possible, across a broad, open-plan space. (Think a richness of audio quality akin to live performance.) On the other, they're designed to be integrated into walls and ceilings, into the very interior-architectural fabric, thereby receding into the background. They may be modestly sized and discreet in design, but these speakers aren't afraid of speaking up. |
