It's fitting that German workplace-furniture manufacturer Wagner should go for large, uninterrupted glazing in its recently completed, pavilion-like Wagner Design Lab at its Langenneufnach headquarters. The company has long been about big vision.

Take its new D2 Office system. Following on from its D1 office swivel chair series, the lovechild of its creative collaboration with sought-after designer Stefan Diez, D2 Office allows for the construction of complete micro-architectural workplace landscapes – comprising tables, shelving and chairs – without the aid of tools. The result: spaces that are as agile as we are.
