Pandemics, war, political instability, as well as climate, energy and cost-of-living crises remind us of the essential role of security, comfort and warmth in our lives. The return of Heimtextil from 10–13 January is a timely reminder, and celebration, of the importance of these things.
In addition to a huge array of international exhibitors, the Frankfurt fair will present a comprehensive supporting programme, with the Interior.Architecture.Hospitality section of particular interest to architects and design professionals. Sustainability will be a central theme of the 2023 edition, as the industry continues to develop strategies for creating a healthier, greener future. Hard questions will be asked. Some answers, we can be sure, will be found in the soft.
