Certain decades resonate more strongly than others in our collective cultural consciousness, holding the power to induce vivid feelings of nostalgia as well as inspire future generations – think of the synth-pop, shoulder pads and big hair of the 80s, Beatlemania and the flower power movement of the 60s or the glamorous art deco modernism of the 20s. All continue to evoke particular emotions in us – one of the reasons why Glamora drew inspiration from the latter of these periods for its new Divina Collection. The Italian luxury wallcovering brand may have looked back in this case for design inspiration, but looking forward is also high on its agenda, particularly when it comes to innovation and sustainability, explicitly expressed in collections such as Komorebi that not only takes its cues from nature, but is good to it, too.
