The designer, Patricio A. Arcaya (1934) was born in Vitoria (Basque Country). He founded Mosel 52 years ago, successful stores in the Basque Country and one of the most renowned in Europe. His artistic spirit as well as his admiration for the nature led him to design very singular pieces crafted by artisan methods and extremely high quality. Soon these pieces were highly successful in Mosel and were most admired by international visitors, architects and all customers of Mosel. Today is the day that each piece is more exclusive, this is why they are signed and numbered, because an Arkaia´s piece of furniture is made ​​one by one, always depending on the characteristics of the board. A piece of furniture that is not only functional, it is a heritage piece that surely will pass from generation to generation.
