Comfony benches are Benkert benches with an innovative, new type of seat surface - it consists of individual slats like those in a traditional bench, but not made of wood with the disadvantages we all know. For structural reasons, the individual seat slats are made with an aluminium profile as the core, surrounded by a PET tube profile. Comfony benches are thus made entirely of steel, with a thermo-sheath seat surface in 8 colours. If, after years of use, you should wish to replace the PET casing, this can easily be done on site - simply remove the slat from the bench, pull off the PET profile, push a new profile over the aluminium tube and screw both back onto the bench. This is quick, and can be done at very reasonable cost. The PET profiles and the aluminium profiles will be available as spare parts for years. PET and aluminium are also ideal for recycling.
