Unusual shop concepts, public buildings from universities to theatres or design-orientated offices: rubber flooring from the ARTIGO Collection fits in perfectly with ambitious architecture. It is characterised by attractive colours, a wide range of different designs and its special quality.
The classic rubber flooring stud system with stud, slate or hammered-effect surface embossing is also part of the product range as well as plan system flooring with smooth or reflection-breaking surfaces. The special PRO and TXL surface treatments provide more protection from dirt and improve flooring resilience. They also make cleaning and maintenance easier, ensuring cost savings over the total life cycle of the floor. ARTIGO has extended the wide range of beautiful rubber flooring products with special flooring, for example for sports facilities and the transport sector and a large selection of stair systems, steps and accessories.
The floor coverings designed by Sottsass Associati are a highlight of the collection and totally re-invent rubber as a floor covering. A new twist on a classic is how you would describe the ZERO.4 floor covering which has won the iF product design award and the red dot award. The rubber stud, which has been popular for decades, is transformed into a mirror image of raindrops on the surface of water in this design as a result of an irregular arrangement of circles in varying sizes. The EBONY floor covering resembles wood grain with its complex geometrical pattern with extensive lines. A rope braid has inspired the team of designers to use an exciting combination of materials: an irregular pattern involving fragments of coconut fibre gives KAYAR its distinct character with a direct association with nature and ecology.
The quality of the collection is not only seen in the design but also in the choice of colours. The range of colours goes very well with ambitious architecture and interior design.
