Designed to provide daylight and fresh air through the roof, VELUX Modular Skylights create healthy, comfortable and performance-enhancing interiors. The modular system can be configured to provide different daylight solutions for different roof types, angles and installation options and offers many functions for climate control, ventilation and shading. All aspects are perfectly combined in one system.
From single module to large-area skylight solution
Prefabricated individual modules are the basis of VELUX Modular Skylights. The modules fit together perfectly to form a seamless system. Every individual solution with VELUX Modular Skylights is configured from the same standard modules and offers consistently ideal conditions. Modularity and prefabrication offer a variety of advantages at every step of the process - from planning and design to completion of the roof.
Configurations of VELUX Modular Skylights:
• Longlight 5-30°
• Wall-mounted Longlight 5-45°
• Northlight 25-90°
• Ridgelight 25-40°
• Ridgelight at 5° with Beams
• Step Longlight/Ridgelight
• Atrium Longlight/Ridgelight
All modules are produced in the VELUX factory in a controlled environment, so that each component is subject to strict quality standards and a perfect fit can be guaranteed. A unique bracket system has been developed to ensure that each module is suitable for all solutions. The products are delivered to the building site ready for installation, including flashing frames, and a simple click system makes installation easier. This means that roof openings can be sealed against adverse weather conditions very quickly and interior work can begin.
VELUX Modular Skylights are available with fixed and opening modules. Thanks to the chain drive fully integrated into the frame, both versions look identical when closed. The openable modules can be used for comfort ventilation and for smoke and heat extraction.
The daylight system can be used to create a variety of different designs for public and commercial buildings, e.g. shopping centres, offices, schools, cultural buildings, public spaces and health care facilities.
