Varberg is a coastal town in Sweden, where salty sea bathing meets undulating woodland. In this beautiful setting Belid has produced Swedish lighting since 1969, by traditional craftsmanship mixed with automated production of everything from order to shipping in order to continuously increase customers satisfaction.

Belid has its own design-, construction-, quality- and prototyping departments. Own workshop with tool manufacturing equipped with modern machines for tomorrow’s demands. Quality tests performed in-house, and so even light metering. The luminaires are painted in a line for painting. Textile shades are manufactured in our factory. Assembly takes place in purpose built premises with its own stock and offer fast delivery to our customers.

In projects, the customers have different requirements and where we find our target. Belid PRO ’s goal is that our customers will find us fast, flexible and responsive. Of these guiding principles our product offering is built in stages; standard bearings, standard on order, special and tender to larger projects. Within these criteria, we find a good lighting solution and a delivery on demand.

In our cooperation with private and external designers we set trends in lighting and work to produce designer fittings with technologically innovative solutions with high light comfort.
