Porcelanosa
Porcelanosa belongs to one of the largest Spanish business groups dedicated to the production and sale of materials, fixtures and fittings for architecture and interior design.
It is an international reference in the manufacture of ceramic wall and floor tiles. But apart from ceramic products, Porcelanosa Grupo has also specialised in the production of wall and floor coverings using natural materials such as wood or stone, as well as kitchen furniture and a complete range of bathroom fixtures and fittings including tapware, sanitaryware, accessories and furnishings, together with advanced building systems for contemporary architecture.
According to a study by the consultancy firm Pricewaterhouse Coopers published in the Financial Times, Porcelanosa Grupo is one of the most widely recognised Spanish companies at worldwide level.
Companies
Porcelanosa began its operations in 1973 with the manufacture of white-body wall and floor tiles, a pioneering move at a time when practically all ceramic tiles were produced using red body.
Today, the group comprises eight specialised companies (Porcelanosa, Venis, Gamadecor, Systempool, L’Antic Colonial, Butech, Noken and Ceranco) which offer an extensive range of products, including kitchen and bathroom fixtures and fittings as well as advanced building systems.
Porcelanosa Grupo is now a reference point in the national and international market, present in more than 90 countries and employing more than 5,000 people.
Porcelanosa showrooms
Its commercial strategy is based on its own distribution network. The first Porcelanosa showroom was opened in Spain in 1980, and today it has more than 400 showrooms all over the world.
