ABIBOO Architecture is a boutique firm with operations in New York (USA), Madrid (Spain) and Chennai (India). Through innovative design processes, exclusive attention to details, strong interest in construction technology and in the blurring frontiers of theory and practice, ABIBOO has specialized in Architecture, Urban and Interior Design. ABIBOO Architecture is currently designing and developing projects of many different scales in four different continents by combining the Latin creativity and passion, the Anglo-Saxon technical rigor and the fast global expansion offered by the emerging countries.
ABIBOO Architecture is led by Alfredo Munoz, an architect in Spain and International Associate of the American Institute of Architects. His practice and research focuses on the development of integral processes at the intersection of arts, engineering, sensorial approach to architecture and anthropology. Prior to ABIBOO Architecture, Alfredo Munoz worked in Europe, the Middle East, India, Japan and the USA for internationally renowned architects like Campo Baeza (Spain), Inaki Abalos & Juan Herreros (Spain), Toyo Ito (Japan) and Skidmore, Owings and Merrill (SOM) (USA) on major projects worldwide. He has been a Visiting Professor at European University in Madrid and lectured at Columbia University in New York, University of Pennsylvania, Pescara University, the Stockholm Royal Institute of Technology and Tongji University in Shanghai, among others.
