Liliana Iadeluca (founder and principal), Stefania Toro

Since 1995 Archiluce Lighting Design offers a full range of lighting design services for architecture, art and theatre. Founder and principal of the Genoa-based studio is Liliana Iadeluca, who boasts an experience of almost thirty years in the field of stage lighting. Liliana Iadeluca is a teacher of stage lighting at D.A.M.S. of Imperia, and she gives lectures regularly at several Italian Universities, as well as the Lighting Academy of Fondazione Targetti in Florence.
Till 1999, some Archiluce’s projects have been realized in strict collaboration with the French lighting designer Jean-Claude Asquié, who recently “passed the baton” to a young architect with keen on lighting and urban landscape - Stefania Toro. Stefania worked in Paris at the Agence Light Cibles of Louis Clair, where she acquired a solid professional experience. In 2005 she came back to Italy, where is still working as a lighting designer.
Among the most significant projects by Archiluce Lighting Design, we mention the many exhibitions at Palazzo Ducale of Genova, at the Contemporary Art Museum of Villa Croce and the Commenda di Pré, in Genoa too, and at Priamar of Savona… Besides the studio realizes custom design of lighting fixtures as the beautiful ones for the Genoa Aquarium. With a surface of 600 sqm, the lighting installation conceived in 2008 for the Lanterna as a tribute to the town of Genoa is unique of its kind.
