Clear, straightforward design with a touch of retro charm meets high tech materials in combination with extreme attention to detail and haptics. With deployed precision and craftsmanship extraordinary luminaires are created.

Since the debut of the Munich manufacturer, a pronounced passion for authentic and expressive materials has developed into a variety of configuration possibilities that are unique to a luminaire collection.
New exciting textures have been applied to the hand-made lampshades, such as the finest velvet from Milan's textile company Dedar for the latest Velvet Collection and new fascinating materials have been discovered for the lamp bases, such as the innovative FENIX NTM® or a hand-polished brass surface.

The Balada & Co. collection currently comprises 4 models. The design interprets different forms of load-bearing featuring allusions, that range from powerful masculinity to the gentle feminine gesture. Inventive amalgamation of symmetries, contours, and radii has yielded lamps of singular character. The unique geometry of its four legs creates distinctive silhouettes that vary based on line of sight, allowing the observer to rediscover the luminaires anew every time. Integrated into distinctive worlds of living, from urban chic, to Scandinavian clarity, or opulent colour-intensive. Straightforward, self-confident and with cosmopolitan elegance, they appear in international interiors, underline furnishing styles or even characterise the space independently.

At Balada & Co.attention to detail means making materials tangible. Metals are engraved, leather is embossed, fabrics are signed. High quality standards are combined with a haptic experience.

For the first time in a lighting collection, Balada & Co. is usingFENIX NTM® – compact, extremely opaque boards produced using nano technology.
Advantages: highly matt surface, excellent color depth, soft to the touch and anti-fingerprint.

Moreover selected models of the Balada & Co. collection are manufactured in a satin brass look. The interplay between the delicate, hand-crafted cut and the shimmering edges of the characteristic Balada design
makes every luminaire an exceptional piece of jewellery.
