Building Design Partnership (BDP) is the UK and Europe’s largest multi-disciplinary design practice.
Established by George Grenfell-Baines in 1961 in Preston in the Northwest of England, the practice has grown into a network of ten studios in the UK, as well as studios around the world in Abu Dhabi, Shanghai, New Delhi and The Netherlands. The practice employs over 900 staff including 425 architects, as well as civil and structural engineers, environmental engineers, urbanists, landscape architects and town planners.
The practice has been ranked top of the AJ100 index for the number of qualified architects employed by a practice for nine out of the last ten years and works across most sectors – including workplace, education, retail, transport, sport and leisure, residential, cultural and healthcare.
