Founded in 1949, Caimi is one of Europe’s leading design-oriented furniture and furnishings manufacturers operating in the home, office and contract sectors. Present on the main international markets through its own distribution network, with Snowsound it has focused its scientific and technological research on the acoustic wellbeing sector, inventing a series of sound-absorbing materials and solutions.
Caimi works with the most highly renowned Italian and international designers and architects, but also with young up-and-coming designers, and, in order to carry out applied research, with some of the finest universities and most cutting-edge research centres in Italy.

Who is the invisible man?
The end user of our products. He is invisible, because, although not physically there, his presence is hanging over the whole planning and production process. Seeing our product, he intuitively understands how it was studied and manufactured and how it is sold and advertised. Even if we don’t see him, he can pass his judgement on each step of our production cycle, starting from the object he holds in his hands. That’s why we behave as if he was always there.
Beyond the product…
Beyond the product, the service: we try to understand what the customer’s requirements are, even when they lie outside the product itself, and to find a solution. The exchange of ideas and advice between us and our interlocutors is always a positive and constructive opportunity.
