Douglas Carson and Rosaleen Crushell began their collaboration in 2003 following their graduation from University College Dublin. Based in London for six years, they worked for a number of award winning practices including Edward Cullinan Architects and Eric Parry Architects. Alongside practice Douglas continues to teach in Queens University Belfast and is President of the Architectural Association of Ireland. Rosaleen, an accredited Conservation Architect, is completing a Masters in Urban and Building Conservation. For their 2010 Design Directory, Wallpaper* magazine selected Carson and Crushell as one of "the world's best new talents" and in 2011 US Online Magazine: Apartment Therapy selected Carson and Crushell Architects as one of "10 Residential Architects to watch"
