Profile
CLK Architects is a multidisciplinary office founded by Joaquin Vaquero in 2010, with extensive international experience, devoted to architecture, art and design. We create spaces that aim to connect with people's feelings. Our style results from an intensive analysis of human behavior, context and materials understanding the complexities of our real world. Only after that, we start to design – transforming obstacles into opportunities. At CLK we design from the team dialogue, including all the technical parties involved in the process from the start. Currently, the office design leadership is shared and developed by Joaquin Vaquero and Christian Alvarez.
The creative activity of CLK architects is closely linked to the world of art and design through the family artistic past of its founder. This connection has a big impact on CLK´s architectural approach. The design and curating of exhibitions also fall within the scope of its activity.
The office is currently developing, among other projects, a collaboration with Heatherwick Studio in several projects in Madrid, the design and remodeling of 5 shopping malls in Moscow and different other Offices and residential projects in Saint Petersburg.
