Faust Linoleum offers linoleum products for office and home surroundings, like tabletops, shelving systems, stools and pin boards. All these products focus around the material Linoleum and they were developed from us or in cooperation with designers. The specially developed 3D online configurator allows the customer to choose among a great variety on size and format, linoleum color and type of edge, thus enabling the customer to design his very own and individual product and order directly from us. In addition to our product line we offer a selected range of products from manufacturers such as Flötotto, L & Z, Very Good and Proper and Adam Wieland which perfectly suit our linoleum program.
We are a young family company putting a main emphasis on high-quality, sustainable and durable furniture. Since spring 2016, production and management are located in Huglfing, Bavaria, near the highway from Munich to Garmisch-Partenkirchen. You are welcome to visit our showroom which is open from 9 a.m. til 5 p.m., Friday til 1 p.m. and by appointment. The delivery of our products all over Europe is one of our major concerns and therefor our own drivers deliver the tables directly to you. Except some items will be sent by the manufacturer or a forwarder. Our products meet high standards and find great acceptance by architects and creative people and can be found in universities, museums, libraries, clinics, restaurants, as well as in private homes.

History

Faust Linoleum has developed from a classic joinery to a company with customers around the world within a few years.

In 1999, Franz Faust founded his joinery in Berlin and performed mainly ambitious shop and interior fittings.
2005 Start of production of custommade tabletops with freely selectable customisations through the first online shop – while at the same time the joinery production continued.
2007 Relocation of production facilities from Berlin / Potsdam to Murnau in Bavaria to henceforth produce exclusively linoleum coated table tops and bulletin boards.
2009 and 2010, new products were developed and operational enhancements were made.
2011 The website was completely revised and extended by a 3D online configurator.
2015 For 10 years linoleum products are manufactured and shipped all over the world now.
2016 Completion of a new building and removal to the new production facility in Huglfing, located in Upper Bavaria. Launching of further linoleum products such as the stool system RAVIOLI and the shelving system PLUSMINUS.

Linoleum

Furniture Linoleum from FORBO consists of regrowing raw materials such as linseed oil, resin, wood and limestone color flour and nature-identical pigments. Moreover linoleum is environmentally friendly and biodegradable.

These ingredients provide a non-shiny, pleasantly warm and elastic surface. FORBO Furniture Linoleum from the product line Desktop is offered in 24 basic as well as modern colors. Products using Furniture Linoleum won several awards in recent years, i. a. with the Red Dot Design Award and the Interzum Award.

Production

In the production process, carpenter skills with digital and automated value-added processes are combined. Since these are very individual procedures, a Product Lifecircle Management database was created, which completely shows the image of the product lifecycle in a digital way. This is the foundation for an autonomous acting intelligent factory. Employees are digitally in their work, “Zero Engineering” takes place at several levels and customers are integrated into the production of their linoleum products.
