FMG Fabbrica Marmi e Graniti was founded in 1998, and strikes the perfect balance between past and future. Embodies the objective of its founder, Mr. Romano Minozzi, to pursue a clear strategy, unchanged over time: to produce marble, granite and other high quality stones in the factory, fully respecting the environment.

We build in the factory state-of-the-art products, using construction processes covered by international certifications.
Stones i.e. blends of clays, sands and minerals that nature compacts through tectonic motion and fires through the heat of the superficial layers of the crust. Natural because we employ the same forces used by nature itself (pressure and fire), following construction processes which reproduce its features and characteristics. Ecocompatible because sands, clays and other minerals are quarried without damaging the environment, using sensitive, strictly enforced procedures and know-hows.
With very high performance because clays, sands and materials used are extremely pure; the compacting pressure is very high (480 kg/cm2); the firing heat is much higher than the one of a volcano (1300 °C and more, compared to 1100 °C)
Practicality and top quality go hand in hand
Resistance, ease of cleaning, simplified installation and water absorption decidedly lower than the limits set by the strictest technical regulations, are just some of the characteristics of decorative technical ceramics which are therefore the ideal solution for indoor and outdoor floor or wall coverings where the qualities of full body porcelain stoneware are required, that is, colours and veining passing through the entire body of the tile.
Innovative materials
Constant and sustained investments, unequalled in the world of ceramics, have led to extremely interesting technological and aesthetic results. Quality, innovative materials and technology are masterfully combined with typically Italian creativity.
The outcome of this process is a new material which was partly developed with certificated production processes: decorative technical ceramics.
This innovative material has allowed FMG to develop products with aesthetic features that faithfully reproduce the most beautiful and the rarest marble, stone and granite that nature has to offer, whilst maintaining exceptional technical characteristics.

Ever since it was established FMG Fabbrica Marmi e Graniti has always been very concerned with regulations and certifications, maintaining its commitment to research so as to offer only technologically advanced products with properties clearly representing an improvement over quarried marble, granite and stone.
Environmental Certifications
Thanks to the organisation and strict regular audits of its industrial processes, the entire FMG Fabbrica Marmi e Graniti production operation has been certified as compliant with ISO 9001 with regard to quality management and ISO 14001 for environmental management, and with the EU EMAS regulations.
HQE®, BREEAM and LEED certifications
Last but not least, the FMG products have been certified compliant with the HQE® protocol (with fiche de déclaration available on the website www.inies.fr) with regard to their environmental and hygiene standards, and FMG materials have been approved as compliant with the requirements of BREEAM (BRE Environmental Assessment Method) and LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) sustainability protocol.
